Two Examination Formats

The Calculator-Allowed Paper places greater emphasis on complex calculations and real-world application problems, assessing students' ability to apply mathematics in more challenging contexts. The content includes applied geometry (such as area and volume calculations), trigonometric functions, probability and statistics, and higher-level algebra (such as quadratic equations and inequalities).

Although the use of a calculator is permitted, the questions are designed with flexibility and require strong skills in applying and deriving formulas. Effective strategies include becoming familiar with the functions of a scientific calculator, such as trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic calculations; improving understanding and practical skills through solving real-world application problems; and practicing extensively with formula usage to ensure formulas can be applied quickly and accurately.
